TOWN HALL
City Hall located near the Museum of the Somme 1916 in Albert, enjoying a beautiful Flemish architecture.
Construction began in 1928, and the building was inaugurated in 1932 by French President Albert Lebrun. Located not far from the Musée de la Somme 1916, it boasts fine Flemish architecture, extending over an area of 690 square meters. Around the 64-meter-high belfry, bas-reliefs depict pre-war agricultural and industrial activities. Also of note is the stained glass window dedicated to aeronautics, the local industrial flagship! In short, a precious reminder of the town's and the region's rich industrial past.
