Wine bar offering tasty and well presented food

Renowned as one of the city's finest wine and champagne bars, L'Hexagone now offers not only aperitif boards, but also a restaurant menu that's well worth the detour. The menu, for example, includes fresh truffled goat's cheese with asparagus and parmesan shavings as a starter, pork pluma or salmon steak as a main course, accompanied by parsnip cremeux, and tempting desserts such as speculoos cheesecake with salted butter caramel. Très belle découverte ! Week end sur Amiens en couple, nous avons trouvé ce restaurant sur internet et avons voulu tester celui-ci du coup ! Nous sommes repartis plus que content (et rassasiés ^^).
Un accueil très agréable, des produits très bon et un prix total très raisonnable !

Good wine. Terrible “music.” Wine can be sophisticated. They ought to bother to play some sophisticated music; that is, with melody, harmony; not the looping, thumping, mindless stuff they do. [Edit: I had to go inside to look at the selection of wines on the board. And I might have sat inside had the music been acceptable. As a lifelong musician, the kind of music an establishment plays is very important to me. IMHO ]
