Located in a beautiful period theatre, the Comédie de Picardie (or Com' de Pic' as the people of Amiens say), an initiative of the Picardie Regional Council, created in 1989, has succeeded in its challenge: to make theatre a popular art form, which manages to reach out to all audiences, while remaining demanding in terms of the quality of the plays. The programme, mixing classical theatre and more contemporary comedies, makes you want to come back every night! A feat made possible by the dynamic and innovative team that is at the helm, headed by Nicolas Auvray. The shows are of high quality and always well directed by the actors. Note the charming bar where you can have a drink before or after the play.
