The Louis-Aragon Library is the main library of the city. Inaugurated in the 19th century, it is one of the oldest in France. You can find just about anything you are looking for, from novels to encyclopaedias, dictionaries to magazines. The library also has an Image and Sound area where film lovers can watch films free of charge, audio terminals to listen to the CD collections on offer on the premises, and wifi access. Icing on the cake: for the inhabitants of Amiens metropolis, registration is entirely free.
