A very beautiful cultural and solidarity idea. The bookmobile is parked on rue du Soulier de Satin on Wednesday and Saturday mornings. It also criss-crosses the surrounding communes all year round: Boves, Sains-en-Amiénois, Saveuse, Dreuil-lès-Amiens, Dury and Hébécourt. This travelling library offers books for adults and children. Its vocation is to break the isolation of the most disadvantaged, people with reduced mobility, or simply people who are far from the city centre and cultural sites and therefore do not have easy access to books. This is a fun and friendly way to bring culture to the doorstep and make it accessible to all.
