This unmissable artistic event of the summer was initiated by the association Jazz à Oloron twenty-five years ago. Since its creation, the festival has welcomed the biggest names in French and even international jazz and has aroused a real craze from the public beyond the borders of Béarn. The 2016 edition welcomed Nina Simone's daughter, Lisa Simone, and in 2017, Natalia M. King and Miguel Zenon performed. A springboard recognized with various prizes including that of the town hall, that of the public or even the best instrumentalist, Les Rives et des Notes continues to establish itself as a real land of talent, whether recognized or in the making. Bands from all over the world come for musical encounters of choice and lovers of jazz, traditional or contemporary, are not mistaken. The reputation of this festival continues to grow, last year the six concerts were sold out!
