The Espace Jeliote is part of one of the few conventional stages for puppet arts in France. With this recognition, the festival Au Fil de la Marionnette was created thirteen years ago. For one month, the Salle de la Jéliote and the Salle de la Chapelle are dedicated to this art of puppetry with numerous performances by different artists. The main theme of this month is puppetry and the art of animated forms. This enchanting world is represented here by quality representatives, for the youngest but also through performances for the general public. Workshops, lectures and an exhibition are also on the programme of this cultural event. This original festival is aimed at young and old alike, with a varied and contemporary programme. From September to May, the Espace Jéliote is also that of a magnificent multidisciplinary cultural season with theatre, dance, new circus shows and concerts. Beautiful encounters with charming artists in perspective!
