TRAIL URBAIN D'OLORON
2019 signs the fourth edition of this charming urban trail combining both the sporting challenge and the discovery of Oloron-Sainte-Marie. The trail is a real walk through the main districts of the city, Notre-Dame, Sainte-Croix and Sainte-Marie; you will pass by these three religious buildings and most of the historical monuments. This 6-kilometre route is done individually in two laps, in relays, and in a women's version in a single lap, and even in a timed walk! Younger children can also take part in a race reserved for them, from the age of 5. The difference in height is about 250 metres, some parts of the course are not so easy for the competitors and this difficulty adds to the success of this very young sporting event: 300 participants and 150 children have registered since the beginning. The start and finish are in the town's public garden, the showers are close to the final line and the atmosphere and conviviality reigning throughout the day is appreciated. This sporting event has a bright future ahead of it!
