SEMI-MARATHON D'OLORON-SAINTE-MARIE
You want to know why they say this race is one of the fastest in France? The Kenyans did it in 1 hour, 1 minute and 57 seconds: at the time, the time was one of the three most prestigious in France! To try and blow it up, between 1,800 and 2,000 people flock to Oloron-Sainte-Marie every year where the race is classified with an FFA label, which counts towards the Championship qualifications. The route passes at the foot of the Pyrenees but avoids the relief, which makes it accessible to everyone, whatever their level. In the semi, expect to have a little trouble at the coast of Bidos, 400 meters breakable! It can surprise just like the false flat that is made by going up for 6 kilometers. The magnificent setting of the valley surrounds you all along and you can choose your run according to your profile: the semi or the 10 kilometers running or walking, the main thing is to go to the end. At the end of the race, all competitors are rewarded with a box of Lindt chocolates, the main partner of this event, and a gift awaits them. A beautiful race in the heart of Bearn, not to be missed!
