TOUR DE GREDE
Heavy work has restored the tower of Grède, this imposing th century building called Oustau de Poey, located near St. Croix church. At the end of the th century, the family of Agreda made a few adjustments to make it habitable. Today owned by the municipality, it offers a magnificent Belvedere on the top floor with a panoramic view, 360 ° on the city and begins a new life as a place of exposure, with a brand new design area presenting the fauna of the Pyrenees. Indeed, it hosts a rich collection of taxidermisés animals, including an imposing naturalisé bear that is held at the entrance. You will also see a collection of rodents, raptors, birds and other mountain animals. On the floor are the city's tourist sites in its three historic districts. Audio guides are made available to the public, in 3 languages, French, English and Spanish to outline the main lines of this heritage.
