CHARPENTIER
It has been nearly 40 years since Gilles and Marie-Christine Charpentier bought this old farm. Inside, you will find their workshop where he makes their enamelled stoneware pottery on site, in this rustic cave, using a technique of superposition of two enamels that give two shades of blue. A dominant feature that can be found on most of the objects in her collection, vases of all sizes, kerosene lamps, tableware, trinkets... sold on site or in pottery markets, every summer, all over France. Visiting their workshop allows you to discover all aspects of pottery work and the subtleties of making utilitarian or decorative objects. A friendly and charming address in the heart of the Béarn des Gaves.
