The Crécy observation tower is a great place to see what the battle was like.
You can't leave Crécy without visiting the observation tower at the mill where Edward III watched his troops defeat the French armies on August 26, 1346. A nearby map shows the position of the various belligerents and how the battle unfolded. However, you'll need to use your imagination to visualize what the battle might have been like here, in a time long past!
