WATER TOWER
According to estimates, the Château d'Eaucourt was built in the 13th century at the request of King Philippe Auguste who wanted to defend his newly acquired lands. It was demolished several times because of conflicts. In the 16th century, during the religious wars, Henry IV and his troops found refuge there. Since 1983, restoration and repair work has been carried out. Medieval festivals were organized to revive this place where so many lords and soldiers passed by. Today, you can visit its remains and surroundings freely.
