Created in 1982, the Francis Jammes association keeps alive the memory of this man of letters by collecting a considerable amount of documents in Orthez. In the Chrestia house, a beautiful Béarn residence where he lived with his mother from 1897 to 1907, you can discover the life, history and work of Francis Jammes. The visit can be done freely or with a guide who will share with you his passion for the poet. Exhibitions on specific themes related to the artist's life are offered throughout the year. It should be noted that the association regularly publishes bulletins on the history of this character and his relationships.
