WAR MEMORIAL
Monument in Fort-Mahon-Plage honoring the town's children who died in the First World War.
In 1923, Fort-Mahon became independent and decided on February 22, 1930, with the association of veterans, to create a monument in memory of the children of the town who died during the First World War. On the bas-relief of the building, one can see the combatants on the battlefield, the exodus of the civilians as well as the women who carry in their baskets all the necessities for the fortification of the city. A place to reflect and immerse yourself in history.
