The Ornithological Group of the Refuge Nord Alsace, or GORNA, is a non-profit association that works for the protection and care of wild animals injured mainly by human activity. Its range of action extends from the North of the Lower Rhine to the Eurometropolis of Strasbourg and as far east as the Moselle and the Meurthe et Moselle. An approved care centre, it recovers hundreds of animals every year, which are put back on their feet before returning to their natural environment. Since 1978, thousands of animals have been saved! Feel free to contact them to suggest volunteering or donations or if you find a small person in trouble. They will tell you how to save and care for him.
