In service since 2011, the A65 provides a freeway link between Bordeaux and Pau, between the A64 and the A62 over a distance of around 150 kilometers. Bordeaux is now just 2 hours from Pau, and the ski resorts of Béarn are getting closer to the capital of Gironde! Known as the "Autoroute de Gascogne", the A65 offers a fast and efficient link to the south-west of France. The only drawback is its high cost. It's one of the most expensive freeways in France, but the advantages it brings make up for this aspect of the journey.
