Chez Laurette is a family affair. Founded in 1994 by mother Laurette, son Cédric is now at the helm of this iconic Pau establishment. Here, it's traditional to cook Poule au Pot, a dish in which the family have become specialists! The cuisine is homemade and authentic, and the restaurant has a loyal clientele of regulars. Poule au Pot reigns supreme on Tuesday lunchtimes, and is available to order on other days of the week. It's served with vegetables (carrots and zucchinis that cook with the chicken and cabbage) and rice cooked in the chicken's stock. A very convivial, intergenerational and popular atmosphere.
