This miniature boutique would almost go unnoticed on the Place Saint-Louis-de-Gonzague, and yet! It would be a shame to miss this Uruguayan stopover. As the name suggests, the speciality here is the empanada, a generous golden turnover, stuffed and served warm with a chimichurri sauce made from parsley, oregano, garlic, spring onion and chilli. Thousands of flavors, including the must-try Abuela with beef, raisins, parsley, egg and cumin; the great classic with sunny vegetables; the melting sweet potato and chorizo; the delicate smoked trout and leek fondue; and the spicy tuna and olive. Sweet variants will satisfy even the most demanding gourmets!

Tout d'abord, j'ai rencontré des problèmes avec le paiement par carte bancaire, ce qui a entraîné une réaction peu agréable de la part de la vendeuse, me faisant me sentir comme un voleur. Ensuite, j'ai remarqué que ma commande était reléguée au second plan, les commandes Deliveroo semblant être la priorité du restaurant.
Enfin, en ce qui concerne les accompagnements, un seul petit pot de sauce a été fourni pour une commande de 14 empanadas. Tout cela pour découvrir à la maison qu'il eu une erreur dans ma commande.
Dommage !
