HÔTEL BOURBON * *
Renovated hotel on the Place Clemenceau with several types of rooms for all budgets for a good stay.
Located on Place Clemenceau, Hôtel Bourbon is one of the city's main attractions. You will love the view directly on this charming corner of Pau. It was completely renovated a few years ago and its bright, light wood entrance is welcoming. The breakfast room, served as a buffet, is in the same spirit with light wooden tables, chairs covered in blue, the walls being flooded with photos of the city of Pau. There are several types of rooms to suit all budgets, from Standard to Superior, but they all have in common double glazing, a desk, a television and practical bathrooms with hair dryer and individual heating. The larger ones have a lounge area. A quiet, welcoming and warm establishment, you will necessarily have a good stay there. A perfect address, both for its affordable prices and its perfect location near restaurants and in the heart of Palau's life!

The location is a pretty fantastic feature, with easy walking or funiculaire access to the Gar de Pau, as well as the heart of Place Georges Clemenceau, which hosts events and is generally just a wonderful place to hang out.
One downside to the location, though, is that sometimes young people gather up to quite late (2-3am) at the Plaza to listen to music very *very* loudly. So for anyone sensitive to noise (as I learned I was), sleep might be quite challenging.
Overall, good experience, though!
