Founded by Jacques Tonnet in 1797, this bookshop in Pau, which holds the LIR (Librairie Indépendante de Référence) label, is one of the oldest independent bookshops in France. It offers a wide range of books, including school textbooks, romance novels, thrillers, philosophical essays, and the latest Prix Femina! Nearly 67,000 references are spread over three levels.
