Under the direction of Fayçal Karoui, conductor of international renown, and Frédéric Morando, its artistic director, the Orchestre de Pau has been flourishing since 2002. The symphonic season features one concert program per month (a concerto, a contemporary work, a symphonic piece). The OPPB's mission is not confined to the Palais Beaumont: it performs free of charge in other venues, such as Pau prison, the hospital, the university and with events for children. A commitment to bringing music to as many people as possible.
