For the 80th anniversary of the Liberation, Pau is collecting WWII documents for an exhibition on August 25.

To mark the 80th anniversary of the Liberation, the Pau archives are launching a major collection of documents relating to the Second World War: letters, photos, manuscripts and recordings. The collection began on April 17, and aims to enrich the historical documentation of the region. Residents can bring their documents to the archives, located in the former tramway factory, or send them by e-mail to [email protected]. The documents collected will be digitized and exhibited in Parc Beaumont on August 25, during a special event commemorating the anniversary of the Liberation.
