JEU DE PAUME - TRINQUET BEAUMONT
Built at the end of the 19th century on the lands of the Countess de Noailles, heiress of Beaumont, the court is an imposing monument in Pau. Built by the architect Virant, the court was described in 1930 by a historian as "the most beautiful court in France and perhaps in the world". After being transformed into a trinquet court, the Jeu de paume de Navarre association is working hard to maintain the hall's original activity. It is possible to reserve slots for initiations, demonstrations and tournaments are regularly organized.
