COMPLEXE DE PELOTE
This complex, entirely devoted to the Basque pelota, is a very important sports pole in Pau and does not have an equivalent in France as in Spain. Ultra-modern, it brings together all the playgrounds necessary for the practice of the 23 specialties of the small ball, namely: a land to play with bare hands inside and inside, a trinquet - for the naked hand, pala and paleta - a Jai Laï for the cesta punched and a wall on the left. With galleries that can accommodate more than 2,000 spectators, it is unavoidable for sports events in particular for the Basque pelota championships, 14 of which are recognized worldwide. In December, don't miss the Nadau Cesta Tournament! Four rooms, meeting rooms, a bar and a restaurant of 150 seats, La Pilota, complete the organization. It opens to new disciplines such as karate and art exhibitions and is a dynamic place to go for both players and spectators. Its proximity to the Sports Center, the Hippodrome and the Zenith place the place as the main site of the sport and cultural activity Paloise.
