A TOUR OF THE GIANTS
The Tour des Géants, an open-air museum that pays tribute to the racers of France in Pau.
This open-air museum, inaugurated in 2015, is a tribute to the riders of the Tour de France. Set up as giant totems, you'll find the great names of cycling, photographed and presented on sky-defying bollards. The totems were made by the Gillet foundry in Albi, the oldest foundry in France. The monument is destined to grow by one totem each year, and the concept is sure to be a hit with visitors every year, as it's rare to be able to follow the evolution of a museum step by step. Each stele is equipped with a flash code for easy presentation. The legend that began in Pau in 1930 has no end in sight, and this memorial is already one of the city's must-see attractions.
