Created in July 1992, this place of remembrance is essential for the restitution of historical facts and the transmission to younger generations, and brings together a fine collection of objects and documents from the Second World War. The items on display have been donated by private individuals, classified and brought together to form this unique site in the département. This project was made possible thanks to the commitment of former members of the Resistance, combatants and deportees, who rallied together to create this exhibition space. A place steeped in history in the heart of the Pyrénées-Atlantiques!
