THE LITTLE TRAIN OF THE HIGH-SOMME
A 14-kilometre railroad line criss-crossing the Haute Somme valley, retracing the route taken by the poilus.
Built at the time of the First World War, to transport supplies to the front, the railroad criss-crosses the Haute-Somme valley, retracing the route taken by the poilus over a distance of 14 kilometers. From the station, some of the finest original steam engines, some of them listed by the Monuments Historiques, are on display in the Musée des Chemins de Fer Militaires et Industriels.
