At 400 m from the village of Long, near a pond and a river, the municipal camping of La Peupleraie is located in the beautiful valley of the Somme. The village of Long is a magical place that will allow you to discover the many treasures of the region: an 18th century castle, Camargue horses, a panoramic view of the Somme valley... Not forgetting the rental of an unusual gîte above the hydroelectric power station, which can accommodate 6 people! For fishing enthusiasts, it is possible to go fishing for free in the pond.

Tijdens ons verblijf waren er meerdere jeugdkampen op de camping, en een seniorenfeest op het naastgelegen sportterrein.
Dat bracht wel gezelligheid op de camping, maar het sterk verouderde sanitair was daardoor totaal overbelast en heel vies.
Het valt voor ons natuurlijk niet te beoordelen of dit uitzondering of regel is op deze camping, misschien hadden wij gewoon pech.
Het dorpje is dichtbij, maar er is verder niet zoveel te beleven

Grass and hedges could do with a bit of a trim but not enough to put you off.
Clean toilets with other facilities, if required.
