This is the Mél, Maison éclusière de Long. The Conseil départemental de la Somme has nicely restored this old lock house, made of brick, and has equipped the quay with wooden furniture and plantations to great effect. This historical monument is ideally located to become the gateway to the future regional natural park of the Somme Bay Picardy Maritime, but also to the eco-pole of the Long-Longpré marshes. In summer, activities are organized there, with the rental of kayaks, paddles and bicycles to enjoy the Véloroute and the towpath.
