LONG CASTLE
This building is one of the most beautiful castles of the reign of Louis XV, restored after the Second World War.
Honoré Charles de Buissy, Lord of Long, built this superb edifice overlooking the Somme. It took nearly ten years to complete this brick and stone construction with its Mansard roof. It is one of the most beautiful castles of the reign of Louis XV, restored after the Second World War. Its current owner is a great collector of clocks and automatons. The floral park of 20 hectares, with landscaped pond and wood is very pleasant. Three entrances are known: one at the castle, and two others on rue de la Cavée, one of which is closed.
