NOTRE-DAME COLLEGIATE CHURCH
On the left bank of the Airaines, before it reaches the Somme in the middle of the ponds, stands the collegiate church of Notre-Dame. Since the Middle Ages, it has been an important place of pilgrimage. After the French Revolution, it lost its influence and deteriorated. During the Second World War, the city was almost completely destroyed. The Collegiate Church was not spared. Nevertheless, we can now observe some elements that have stood the test of time and conflict. Inside, under its choir, come and discover the only Romanesque crypt in the department, built in 1190. There is also a 16th century tomb, a reliquary of Saint Christopher and a 13th century portal.
