ANCIENNE SYNAGOGUE
Former synagogue, classified as a historical monument, now occupied by a Catholic home and can be visited freely
Built in 1869, this synagogue is classified as a historical monument. It presents an orientalist architecture by the domination of the windows with horseshoe arches. Very large compared to the size of the Jewish community in the region, its dimensions were justified by the abundance of competing places of worship, whether churches or temples. The Second World War took its toll on the beautiful building, which was transferred to the commune in 1989. Today, it is occupied by a Catholic home but can be visited freely.
