STREET BELLHOP
Fairly usual belfry, consisting of a large square tower with 3 floors, 2 compartments and a temporary exhibition room.
The Rue belfry, typical of northern France, consists of a large, square, three-storey tower, covered in slate and flanked at the top by four small, pointed turrets. The guided tour, in small groups of no more than 12 people, is packed with fascinating stories about the town, and includes climbing the 76 steps to the top of the belfry and using the covered walkway, as well as (re)discovering the eight paintings that once adorned the walls of the justice of the peace room, and which have just been magnificently restored!
