CIDRERIE DE LA GARENNE
Although cider has been a Picardy drink for generations, its preferred lands are in the departments of Aisne, Thiérache, Oise, the country of Bray and Somme in the Vimeu. The Cider de la Garenne de Saint-Gratien, located on the north Picard plateau, is a little a with its neighbors. More reason to tell you the history of this small family undertaking where Bare and Vincent Liénart will welcome you. It was in 2009 that the young couple resumed the activity, initially created by their predecessors in Naours. Label'Territory of Picardie ' - the regional trade mark - their farmers'ciders, crude, semi-dry and sweet have been spotted several times at the Capelle-en-Thiérache fair (Aisne): the raw cider and soft cider are, respectively, gold medallist and silver medallist 2013. The orchards, for their part, are still in Naours: apple juice blends apples with which, apple juice and other tasty tasty nectars juices, apple-cassis ("Pom'cassis") juices, pétillant apple juice ("Pom'pétillant") are made. You can't really leave without a few bottles. The little more, here is still the gathering on the farm (mid-April to mid-November) and the possibility of combining the two visits.
