THE COMMONWEALTH CEMETERY
A Commonwealth cemetery at Saint-Riquier, home to the graves of Sergeant Louis-Joseph Petit and British servicemen.
Located in Saint-Riquier, this Commonwealth cemetery is worth a visit. There is the grave of Sergeant Louis-Joseph Petit, who after being wounded at the battle of Ligny, came to settle in Saint-Riquier and built a house in homage to Napoleon I near the village square. It is also possible to pay your respects in the square bought and fitted out by the British army in 1920, to group 84 graves of British, Indian, Australian and Canadian soldiers.
