A charming, characterful hotel, nestled just a few steps from the beach, which is first and foremost a beautiful manor house. The precious memory of the concert that Sviatoslav Richter improvised on his piano, a Bechstein from the last century, is echoed here, and sofas, antique carpets, a fireplace and a well-stocked library evoke that era. We're also talking about the present, with our comfortable rooms that have retained the charm of yesteryear, thanks to their fine furnishings. Antique paintings, publisher's fabrics and toile de Jouy blend with the contemporary in the bathrooms, where the tiles are sometimes spectacular. From the large bedroom on the top floor, with its bookcases and wall of decorative magazines, to Toulouse-Lautrec's bedroom with the bed from the Hôtel Richelieu in Barèges, you'll feel like you've stepped back in time! All garden-facing rooms boast superb balconies. Despite the centuries and history, the place remains authentic. A cosy, refined hotel that's the opposite of standard.
