This store has been run by the Larralde family for 5 generations. The legendary Basque espadrille is more trendy than ever, and is used by the great fashion designers. At all prices, there are shoes for all types of feet: children, women, men, teenagers, and for all tastes. Made in the Spanish Basque Country, 100% artisanal, hand sewn, its sole is traditionally made of rope, sometimes bordered with crepe, flat or wedge heel. It's a little bit of the Basque Country at your feet that you'll find in the 3 boutiques!

I have continued to go however regularly for 30 years, but 2 things should know:
- You are here in a trade with fashion that does not need to be PLUS friendly to sell.
- the Basque can (often) sometimes served for a superior race by forgetting than, as in many tourist areas throughout France, fortunately tourists are there to make them live.
And yes, this shop is nice and the products also yes, the choice is good, yes is certain originality but it would be happy that change mentalities everywhere respecting people come, precisely, visit the towns of tourists!
That said, I would like sometimes (but rarely for French) as the same tourists to learn how to respect places where they are. And there I think foreigners like the English and Dutch who can home be booked with square for fear of fine and who believe our country as a trash where everything is allowed!
It is called mutual respect!
From there all go well!
