The promenade luzienne des Anglais! Since 1912, the Pergola has been the chic promenade of the inter-war years, but its lustre faded as the ocean spray took its toll. Today, the shopping arcade has been given a new lease of life, with new balustrades that allow you to look out over the beach as you would from a cruise liner. Souvenir stores, restaurants, ice-cream parlors and terraces have been restored to their former glory! The transformed garden is now home to a hotel, a thalassotherapy center and a casino. ce devait être le lieu chic autrefois.
Un certain nombre de commerces n'existent plus ce qui est dommage et attriste le lieu, mais il y a pourtant une certaine ambiance car c'est apparanment un lieu ou les gens aiment se retrouver et passer un instant de détente. On aimera y passer un moment à se reposer et contempler la mer et les gens qui passent
