Based between Guéthary and Saint-Jean-de-Luz for almost 30 years, Erika Sellier, a self-taught artist, takes her brushes from the green hills of the hinterland to the azure and tormented shores of the coast, and exhibits all year round in her shop window and at the XAYA restaurant, works on canvas or old paper that speak poetically of the seasons, games, dances, harvests, fishing and the art of living. Her paintings tell a passionate story of life in the country she loves so much.
