Since 2018, behind the courthouse, Les Fourmis Rouges has been a boutique for creators and homegrown talents, promoting sensible, local business. Around twenty designers, almost all from the department (or nearby), take it in turns to welcome visitors to the boutique. They are available to talk about their unique and varied creations: jewelry, ceramics, home decor, fabrics, objects and delicacies.
It's the Christmas market spirit all year round, in an atmosphere teeming with little gifts for all occasions, and for yourself too.

Message from Management
The Association was born in 2016 first under the name "Atelier 22" to become "Les Fourmis Rouges" in 2018 when the store moved to the heart of Angoulême.
The idea is to promote local crafts by bringing together artisans and creators around a perennial collective store that showcases know-how and also diversified, high-quality techniques and materials.
It also offers customers a cocoon with a vast choice of gift ideas in fields as varied as costume jewelry and fashion accessories, leather goods, decorative objects, confectionery, well-being and candles.
The designers take it in turns to open the boutique on different days, allowing visitors to meet and exchange ideas in the warm atmosphere of the store.
