Go there and contact
The section of the Charente River between Port du Lys, which marks the departmental boundary with the Charente-Maritime and Montignac-Charente departments, is a public river domain (DFP). That is 95 km of main watercourse, more than 400 km of banks, 19 locks in service, 26 main reservoirs, 9 automated dams. As owner of this domain, the Department maintains it, striving to imitate invasive species, promote biodiversity and water quality, and keep the banks and structures in good condition. You can download the lock passage guide from the department's website.
