The Hôtel Saint-Simon is the only Renaissance-style monument in Angoulême. Built in the 16th century, it became the property of the de Saint-Simon family in the 18th century, from whom it takes its name. In the small courtyard beyond the porch, you can admire the facade of this building, with pilasters adorned with numerous geometric shapes, the details of which are surprising. The Hôtel Saint-Simon is home to the Via Patrimoine company, whose mission is to promote culture in the Charente region.
