Open since 2014, the Memorial of the Resistance and Deportation offers a global vision of the 1939-1945 war in Charente. The place is a former house of the Resistance. All aspects of the Second World War are dealt with in thematic areas where audio, video and paper documents are mixed with old objects: period clothing, photos... The welcome is very pleasant and the emphasis is on the knowledge of this period in the Charente and its surroundings.
