Garden under the city walls for a cool, playful moment in Angoulême

Created in 1860, this 4-hectare garden is located beneath the city walls and offers a very different perspective. As you stroll along the winding paths, you'll discover the different worlds of the park, punctuated by a small animal enclosure, a pond, a waterfall, sculptures and a garden of scents.

Angoumois locals love the garden, whether for a leisurely stroll or to take the kids to the playground. In summer, the Théâtre de Verdure is the venue for live performances. The Jardin Vert is a green oasis in the heart of the city.

Parc en hauteur au-dessus de la Charente , fort vaste , un peu sauvage. C'est un véritable poumon vert pour la ville qui ne manque pas d'espaces vets.

Very pleasant garden, at the foot of the ancient walls with its alleys that climb lace on the rocky spur which is the seat of the town of Angoulême.
It is a flowers and trees place where a stream flows and where you can see some kids. There are also games for children
