If there's one name the Charentais know well, it's the Letuffe chocolate factory. You will find a range of homemade chocolates and nougats, including the famous "marguerite", whose name recalls Marguerite de Navarre, born in Angoulême, sister of François Ist. The Letuffe daisy comes in three flavours: white chocolate and almond, dark chocolate and orange or milk chocolate and hazelnut. The shop is also a regional showcase: cognacs, pineaux, terrines, jams and a selection of objects from the Renoleau earthenware factory.
