XAVIER MAFFRE

Poterie de la Passiflore is the pottery store of Xavier Maffre, a passionate ceramist who offers a selection of handmade ceramic objects. Most pieces are made on the wheel using local clay. The workshop also offers a traditional throwing method called "tour à cordes", which consists of modeling pottery from a wooden shell covered with coiled rope. Last but not least, Xavier Maffre has an impressive wood-fired kiln called the "Anagama", which offers unique firing and incomparable beauty to the pottery.
