A native of the region, Michel Ibargaray returned to Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port after a career in some of the world's top restaurants. Here, you'll find a friendly atmosphere, just like the chef. Coffee, breakfast, an aperitif at the bar... At the table and on the plate, simple, tasty cuisine: crispy pig's trotters, grilled local suckling lamb, chipiron salad, "homemade" double fat spiced up with Moscatel, duck breast or "homemade" confit sausages. Finally, if there's room, rice pudding with milk jam.

et là le barman vous prend de haut en disant que si je ne sais pas attendre faut pas que je vienne au restaurant????. S’ajoute à cela une serveuse qui s’énerve alors qu’on ne lui avait rien demandé.
Bref à éviter ou réorganiser le système de paiement ????
Merci malgré tout à la jeune dame qui a encaissé ce que nous devions.
