A colorful village festival featuring the traditional parade of floral floats, a festive and lively procession.
The Balzac cavalcade is 3 days of festivities, with a big meal, fireworks and, above all, the traditional parade of floral floats. Each hamlet is represented by a decorated float. The floats parade through the village streets to the sound of bandas, until they are illuminated in the evening with the torchlight procession.
The first cavalcades date back to the post-war years, and it's in a festive spirit that the tradition is perpetuated over the weekend following Pentecost. The evenings are lively, and year after year, there are more and more flower-decked floats. A lovely gathering.
