Former priory and parish priest with a Monuments Historiques altarpiece
Reignac's Romanesque church was built in the 12th century. It was subsequently fortified in the 15th century.
Its particularity lies in its 2 facades and the murals it houses. Before entering, take time to observe the sculptures, which recall the influence of Saintes Abbey. Inside, the murals invite contemplation, right up to the painting of the Resurrection of Christ.
Successive restoration campaigns have brought out the true brilliance of the building.
